Sophos OS HA issue with Failsave mode

Hi All,

Just want to share about HA configuration on XG 330 with SFOS 16.05.0 RC-1. Does anyone having experience on HA entering failsave mode ?.

The unit often enter this mode, during testing the HA, for example :

- reboot the master unit, then the slave unit will become failsave mode.

- unplug the cable from master, then the slave unit will become failsave mode.

And for my experience, it's very unstable, I've reimage the unit for almost 3 times start from February.

Now, I just run with one unit, because still no conclusion how to solve the HA issue.  I've open case for my first time experience, and support just give the advice for the reimage.

Please share your experience related the issue. Many thanks.

- HA failsave mode

- HA Active - passive

    Hi all, 

    i face same issue now, i've also tried Sophos Firmware Version SFOS 16.01.2 but no luck, there's no different. 
    the first attempt, i tried to power off the primary hardware (device A), and it was working, the auxiliary device (device B) came up correctly, and the traffic could pass through
    but on the second attempt, (status : the first auxiliary device (device B)became primary device, and another (device A) became auxiliary device), i tried to power off the second device (device B) but the device A didn't take over the traffic, and the traffic went through after i disconnect the HA cable, and when i check the device A was already in failsafe mode. 

    Any advice for this problem ?
