unable to initialize a WAN link

Hello,

 

I just added a 2nd ISP for failover on the Sophos XG.  However I cannot initialize this link for some reason. Even on Active/Active the link will not provide a green status.

Additionally is there a way to test fail over? i.e can i simulate shutdown for WAN1  and failback?

    hi,

     

    have you tried isolating the issue?, like connecting a laptop/pc directly to the wan link and simulating if there is really an internet connectivity when link is not connected to XG.
