Hi-
I'm testing out Sophos XG for possible replacement of a Fortigate system. Several of my users heavily rely on SSLVPN / Clientless VPN access options. With the Fortigate, I'm able to enable 2FA to login and let users use a Native RDP functionality, leveraging Java, to connect to their workstations directly. The huge advantage of this of course is the NATIVE RDP experience, so, sound, printers, etc. all work without issues. The problem is it utilizing Java and the requirement of Java being on whatever client device is connecting to the Fortigate.
I see that with Sophos XG 16, 2FA finally got re-introduced and Clientless Access (HTML5 RDP/VNC/etc) seems to be in place. I've setup a few test systems and it appears to be very minimal, basic KVM only, no audio, no printer re-direction, nothing. I'm completely assuming that this is a fork of Guacamole which does indeed have at least audio support. Do you plan on introducing more functionality for the HTML5 client? Also, is there a way to possibly launch a native RDP session using clientless access?
