A lot of consumed packets when capturing packets

As we are trying to find a reason why some computers are having an issue with their real time programs and email, we are coming across alot of consumed packets and invalid traffic. Is there something I can look into to find out the cause of the issue. All the consumed IPs seem to be going to the real time programs.m We have firewall, IPS, and CFS rules put in but we do not have any traffic shaping implemented. We have a 1 Gig internet connection. Thanks for all your help

  • Hi ,

Packets showing Consumed does not mean that the packets are dropped my the XG , however, the Invalid Traffic does drop the traffic and must know if the packet is necessary for the communication or not.

Please post the Output of the Drop packets in Console. Access the device via console using SSH or Telnet and Go to Option 4 .

Command : console>drop-packet-capture 'host <IPaddress of the Host machine or Website > and not port 137
