one thing at a time here is my question to see if this will work

B.R.O.

I have a Router with the private ip address 10.141.12.82 and a public ip address 12.5.52.39

 

My XG 310 's gateway is 12.5.52.34

 

It would be easiest for me to allow full IP from the router's IP 12.5.52.39 to get through the 12.5.52.34 Gateway to Routers 206.217.154.6,

205.145.159.11, 205.145.159.12, 160.109.100.76, and 160.109.100.228

 

I get it to create another zone for the interface, but would I  make the IPv4/Netmask be 12.5.52.39 or 10.141.12.82?

    I have several cisco in house routers that I don't manage but one of them maintains NATs for our remote site to be linked to our local printers for example.  There are  about 180 nats configured

    I think the cisco routers are taking care of this all by themselves and just need to clear the arp off the network before installing the new firewall.

    If the nats don't work I have to put the old firewall back online because I work at a hospital and the interfaces connecting the machines in the lab is keeping me from troubleshooting until I figure it out.  The routing on the XG 310 will take over and slow everything down big time!

    They said I can NAT the External IP if that makes it easier, I would just need to let me know what the NAT IP is and in what direction.

     

    I think I would keep all my bases covered by allowing their 5 head end cisco routers full ip to their MEDVPN router on my network with a Business App rule using the DNAT,Full NAT/Load Balancing Template.

    What do you think?

    After I get my firewall to working I am going to re-do all of my network maps because I had so much stuff I didn't know I had and according to some maps we had a backup satellite internet connection at one point before I started working here.

    Any tips on making a new diagram that you would have a easy time reading?

    A logical network diagram is a good example. Goggle it and you will find a lot of example/images.
