SSL VPN Client doesn't let pass traffic past few minutes

Hi to all,

I have got configured the SSLVPN Client, and connects fine. I'm able to reach the internal network and to every the resources in the intranet. But in few minutes, something is blocking the traffic (I don't know if is the policy, the SSL VPN Client, etc...)

The SSL VPN client isn't disconnected the session and all seems is working fine, but I haven't traffic...

Any idea???? If you need something let me know...

Thanks in advance!!!

Regards

David.

  • Hi,

Do you still have this issue?

I have the same issue on my XG 115.

Anybody find the solution to this?

    Regards,

    Exavia

  • Hi Exavia,

    we have resolved this issue...

In first step, we have disabled, in the firewall rule, the identity match... This is used to apply the firewall rule to a user, if you connect the the SSL VPN with the client, the user is autenticated, so the user is authenticated two times... The firewall should not to drop your traffic...

I called to sophos' support and they recommend me to upgrade to the last version. I did this and now all is working properly... They didn't say me but seems a bug in the software that is solved in the next version... (I had the SFOS 16.01-GA and I think that I upgraded to the SFOS 16.01.01-MR1, i'm not sure...)

With the new version, all works fine an I can enable the identity matching known users....

    I hope to help you!!

    Kind Regards!!!

    David.

  • Hi There,

Thanks for the feedback. We are currently on SFOS 16.01.1 which sounds like the same version you went to. Unless I'm mistaken.

Perhaps I'll try updating to SFOS 16.05.2 MR2 over the weekend and see if it helps.

    Regards,

    Exavia
