Hi all,
we have one XG330 Cluster with 3 new AP55 connected in a dedicated WIFI VLAN . We use AD / Radius authentication , we followed the Sophos Articles for NPS/AD configuration.
We configured the same SSIDs in all APs , the Radio channels are automatic , so same SSID and different Channels .
Every AP55 is connected to the Wifi VLAN through the cable.
Now we have a lot of trouble with authentication and smartphones wake up disconnected problems.
Some Examples:
1) Long times for connecting to the Wifi Network , I see the SSID input the credentials and I have to wait maybe more then 1 minute sometimes more to authenticate.
2) Smartphones ( iPhones Huawei Samsung ) that are connected and working, after some time unused when waked up , they are not connected anymore to wireless and do not connect automatically but only selecting again the SSID or sometimes after very long time automatically.
3) Roaming through APs sometimes is not working at all, some smartphones re-authenticate ( automatically ) some others ( a few ) authenticate only with one AP , when they roam they are disconnected.
I was wondering that we have not created a firewall policy from Wifi to our Radius Server, but I thought it was integrated with the sophos authentication , isn't it?
We see floods of user authentications to our Radius server , the same user multiple times in minutes...is it normal?
What Can I check ?
