Can't update XG firmware from SFOS 15.01.0 MR3 to SFOS V16

I met a special problems in update fireware version.

below is some descriptions:

1、Device is XG210, we add an extra moduel for lack of ethernet port, The moduel contains 8 ethernet ports

     no the condition is the original interface number is PortE0 to PortE5,new moduel interface number from Port1 to Port8

2、I've made update servral times , found all configurations lost after new version was applied successed. 

 

So, does someone have the same problems?

and how to resolve this problem , how to update the fireware with configurations normally ?

    Was the extra card a Sophos approved upgrade?

    If, not i suspect your hardware configuration will not have been updated in the onboard module which from my understanding means your can't upgrade.

    You will have to talk to your reseller.

    The extra moduel is Sophos approved Card and working well now!

    The problems is when upgrade the fireware of XG210 from V15 to V16 , the fireware upgrade can be success But the configurations all lost ,and the appliance was initialized.

    Okay, what is happening is the ports are being re-assigned, so you need to work through the CLI to re-assign the ports to where you want them.

    Or, you keep moving the connection cable until you find the port that has your internal connection on it, which is probably easier.
