I have a plan to purchase SoposXG appliances in the future.
So I am testing it using SophosXG Home Edition.
I have a question about HA setting.
Can not configure HA in SophosXG Home Edition?
My XG Home Edition meets the following conditions.
- The same hardware configuration (Memory, CPU, HDD) on ESXi.
And installed with thin provisioning.
- The HA port is a DMZ zone and SSH is permitted
- Same configuration except the management IP address
- Correct IP is specified for peer in HA configuration setting
However, enabling HA will fail.
At that time, the following error log was output.
tail -f /log/applog.log | grep ha:
Nov 10 11:29:41 enableha: enableha called from GUI
Nov 10 11:29:43 enableha: peer sanity check failed
It seems to have failed with sanity check.
However, all conditions are clear.
So I thought that XG Home Edition does not support HA.
