Has anyone had any issues with downloads stopping (especially large ones) since upgrading to 16.05? I'm using 16.05 home on Hyper-V 2012 R2. VM has 4 cores and 6GB RAM.
I've got a fairly small ruleset with an group allowing unrestricted access, one with a subset of blocked categories (default workplace type stuff) and a couple of server publishing rules.
I'm aware of issues with IPS and have applied the following with no success:
set ips maxsesbytes-settings update 8192
set ips maxpkts 8
There are currently no Intrusion Prevention policies applied to any of the rules. I have tried with these applied and without - same issue. Application control currently set to allow all but makes no difference if I change this to something else. No DoS protection settings enabled.
I though this could be AV related so have tried turning off HTTP and FTP scanning. I'm not using HTTPS scanning. I have changed AV engines to Sophos, Avira and both (dual scanning). I have flipped between realtime and batch scanning. Do not scan files larger than is set to 1MB. I have even stopped the AV service. None of these changes has made a difference.
The only thing that seems to give acceptable performance is to disable all rules except #Default_Network_Policy [ ID : 1 ] but this is not acceptable.
Stuff like DNS resolution is all working OK and downloads start off OK, but then tail off and stop pretty quickly.
Log files have been less than helpful...
Any ideas how to progress this?
