Update to SFOS 16.05.1 MR1? Do I need to reset the Max IPS Packets to default?

So like others here on the forum with the 16.05 release I noticed decrease in WAN performance, doing the IPS Max Packets 8 fixed the issue. What is the default? I want to make sure that my protection is back to the recommended levels? Does the MR1 fix the slow WAN issues?
