SSL VPN Client Install

We are preparing to rollout a number of new XG's next week.  We currently have Sonicwall's companywide and I have a lot of users who rely on VPN access.  With the new XG we would like our users to start using the SSL VPN.  I like the user portal download BUT we have our users locked down from being able to install applications on their machines.  It requires a domain admin to install which means our already taxed IT department most likely myself will need to log in to each of these machines in order to install.  I have the main office's XG setup but not live yet I am able to log into the client portal and download/install the client so I was hoping to be able to start doing this for client machines before going live next week but I am worried if we make any changes to the VPN config that the client will need to be installed again to reflect those changes or will the client recognize the changes without needing an admin to reinstall.

Another question right now the VPN is configured to assign a different set of addresses and I cannot find where I can change it to use DHCP from our domain.

Thanks!

Chris

for the DHCP, you cannot delegate the DHCP job to other DHCP servers but XG will release the IP. You can change the IP released under VPN > SSL VPN Settings.

For the deployment, once the SSL package has been installed, it cannot be changed. I mean, if in your Firewall you change the Port or the CA, your users will not be able to connect.

This is very restrictive! You can use built-in VPN like IPSec where users do not need to install anything because Windows already has IPSec/L2TP functionality on board.
