Block url on XG Home edition ?

I haven't tried this to see how effective it is, but the usual answer is enable the micro site function.

I do have it enabled on my XG, but don't try to block specific sites as you as trying to.

I try enabled this function but no luck. :( the my son'PC still can access to the facebook website.

I suspect it has to do with the way you have setup your users. I assume you are using clientless and DHCP?

Check the connection logs looking for your son's PC IP address.

Check that it is actually facebook he is going to and not some other site that then forwards your connection.

Why do you have two rules basically doing the same thing. In theory the second rule will never be used.

Actually, in my LAN, I have 1 PC (server), its DHCP for all, that is  my media/data server. and I setup XG Firewall in front of LAN an behind the ISP router. After setup the rules and try block facebook, my PC and my son's PC still access to the facebook webpage.

Btw, I trying to setup UTM 9.4 in other PC with fresh install.

To test out what is going wrong I added the block generally unwanted applications which includes facebook in many forms.

What I found was that I could open facebook and a number of parts of facebook that I had previously opened but any new pages failed with no internet try again. Now my iPad has internet so the filter is working.

I have clientless users setup and match against know users.
