I was reading one of the forum post and in one of the responses they had added this Firewall OS Help link URL.
I find it more useful than the 500 some page user manual and very helpful.
It has many topics answered with very nice step by step instructions.
It might be a good start for when setting up policies and rules, to help you get the policy or rule syntax or format configured correctly.
Then just try to custom the instructions for your specific network policy and rule's needs.
I am thinking the information in the OS Help link will get you closer to what you need and then from there as needed consult the user forums.
