Xg force logout

Hi Feroz, 

Edit the USer object and look for the option "Simultaneous Login". Setting this value to 1 will restrict the User to log in on one system and restrict the other attempts. This will not force log out the user when the same credentials are used for simultaneous login but restrict multiple Log in through same credentials.

There is an alternate way to force log-out a user which can be done by Admin access to the XG' UI.

i don't see this option for default admin user. but manually created user have this option.

i created new user and apply the setting as you mentioned above, but didn't work. tried two browser login same time and even tried two pc.

Tested, works like a charm at my end. Refer the screenshot. On Firmware version SFOS 16.01.2.

Do you log-in through Captive Portal? Show me pictures of the FW-rule configuration which should be in line rules for DNS>USER RULE> DROP ANY TRAFFIC RULE.

my issue is not about captive portal.my problem is login to firewall console.

I think there is a misunderstanding. Simultaneous login will restrict User session login. I guess you need to restrict the Web GUI access on a particular system. This can be done by defining the host IP address in the System> Administration> Device access Setting> Local Service ACL Exception Rule.

Configure two rules here, on the top configure the Match rule as below for the IP address of a source system that can access the Web GUI.

so after this configuration, i can able to login mentioned ip (172.16.16.17) right ?  so any other pc i will not ?
