Since 16.05 a new interface appeared: imq0

Hi All,

I have never seen the imq0 devices on my XG on previous release. Maybe I am wrong?

IMQ devices are virtual devices used for QoS AFAIK but on XG I never seen it.

Can someone else confirm?

    Hi Luk,

    checked a number menus where a device would and nothing similar found.

    I tried adding a new network to one my rules, but no interface like what you describe.

    Hi Luk,

     

    I have noticed it for some time now under the command system diagnostics utilities bandwidth-monitor. You are also correct that IMQ is used for QoS. If you watch imq0 in system diagnostics utilities bandwidth-monitor, you should see it have almost the same traffic as your uplink as long as you have QoS rules on all traffic.

    Simple answer from me, I don't have any QOS enabled.
