Change all policy to "Prefix Subject", but some emails still be rejected...

Dear All,

I have change the email protection policies action to "Prefix Subject" or "Accept",

but some emails still be rejected!

There were some emails still be rejected with the reason - "Sender IP address is blacklisted".

We configured the email protection with Legacy mode, and firmware is 16.01.1.

Anybody can help me why the emails still be rejected?

And which rule rejected the emails?

Thanks~

  • Support team replied me the "Verify Sender's IP Reputation" and RBL are reference to different tables.

Sophos uses commtouch and does a lookup on iprep .ctmail.com to check for sender's IP Reputation.

And the flow of Anti-Spam is
    1. IP Reputation
    2. RBL

So "Verify Sender's IP Reputation" has higher priority than RBL.

    Thanks support team.
