BW declaration per interface for qos?, qos options?

so i'm new to this SFOS thing... but i can't wrap my head around the QoS:

where's the declaration of UP and downlink speed PER INTERFACE??!, in UTM this is very easy and an integral part of the QoS system, now in SFOS i see a very vague "total BW" that the help says "put the total bw from your WAN links" HUH?!?!?! what tha..?!?, that is absolutely useless!

first it doesn't says if it's UP or DN BW what you need to sum, second, what if i have totally different connections?(for example a 1mb and a 30mb conn), how can the system balance anything automatically if it doesn't know the speed per interface?

Also, i can't find any kind of download equalizer just like in UTM or uplink optimizer for small packets

  • QoS is one of the good points of XG and you can control QoS per firewall rule. However you are correct that if you have multiple WAN connections you are out of luck and most of the UTM features are completely missing.

  • i can't see how it is a good point where you simply can't setup and do the most basic QoS stuff. You might be able to do a qos per rule but you can't declare interface bw and you can't do global qos or the simplest of load balancing...

multiple wan is like the most basic thing for any company nowadays, and lacking even weighted balancing is damning
