Best hypervisor Xenserver, HyperV, ESXi, or KVM (Proxmox)?

Any advice on which hypervisor works best with XGFirewall in terms of performance and compatibility?

Please consider that I will be using the free version of any of them.

  • l0rdraiden,

Vmware is more popular and even updates/compatibility from SW house comes first. I would recommed VMware even in terms of performance (no GUI like Hyper-V).

I tried XG on Vmware and runs great.

Always it depends on what you need to achieve with your XG. My recommendation is to always use Sophos Appliance if the XG must be the default Firewall.

If XG runs in parallel, you can use any Hypervisor but I prefer to keep some devices out of the Hypervisor.
