FW Sophos XG (Hyper-V) restarting each 10minutes

Hello,

i have a Sophos XG Licensed in version 16.01.2 in Hyper-V VM it was working ok for months.

last 2 weeks the Firewall is restarting each +/- 10 minutes. I enabled DOS & Spoof for a while it stoped, but after a few hours it start restarting again.. :-(

1. question. How i can transfer the Logs from XG so i can analize and maybe find what is happening?

2. question. Which files to look in logs directory to see why is restarting?

3. question How can i solve this?

If the XG is continually restarting there will not be any logs to read, the XG resets logs at each restart.

Check your NIC settings for power saving. Review the hyper-v log files for any errors, excessive swapping, memory shortages.

Maybe logging to a syslog server is a way to see events just prior to reboot.
