How to scan pop3 service for outside user?

Question

Dear All, 
 In XG firewall, there is an Email Server(SMTP) application business rule for smtp service scaning. 
 and also an Email Clients(POP & IMAP) application business rule for user inside the XG firewall. 
 
 But how to scan POP3 service when users receive their email from outside? 
 Users can't connect the mail server (behind XG) through the Email Clients rule...

Shunze, 
 You cannot scan pop3/imap when the users are outside of the network protected by XG. XG intercepts the mail traffic and applies mail rules defined by admin.

 as you can see the scanning is from WAN to LAN. I have the same configuration on XG where I scan IMAP traffic on users behind the XG (but it works only for internal users). 
 You cannot force mail scanning for external users.

 Its true on the SMTP rule must include all mail services as there would come a Scenario when the system is located outside the network and would need to scan POP3 mails when the server is Local Network . Currently this is considered as a feature request .
