Turned off imaps scanning and the corruption of PDF issue vanished

I have submitted a number of threads about the mail reporting in the daily reports and also about the corruption of embedded PDFs.

As an experiment I disabled imaps scanning and the pdfs are longer randomly corrupted and the mail messages are handled quicker.

The daily reports no longer show the breakdown of the spam senders and receivers because the messages are not reviewed by the XG.

Not a good outcome.

    Just for fun and maybe a little pain, I re-enabled IMAPS scanning on 16.05 worked for a day then failed last night. The daily report shows mail being classified, butt his morning all services are broekn again. Restarted the XG because last time that fixed another mail issue, but not this time. The restart did fix the IMAPS issue, all mail accounts using IMAPS are now working again. No logs to review because they all vanish on restart.

    The big question is what goes wrong with the mail proxy that causes IMAP scanning to break?
