SSL VPN Settings not changable

Hi guys,

I yesterday switched over from UTM to XG and I'm currently rebuilding my config. Everything is running fine except SSL VPN.

Everytime I change the config in the SSL VPN Settings, the changes are not saved - after opening the page again, the old values appear again. Also I'm not able to download the VPN Client from the user Portal (probably the same issue). Any ideas?

I'm using SFOS 16.01.2 on a Fujitsu Futro S900 Thinclient ...

Regards,

Jens

  • HI Jens,

Could you conduct few steps .

    1) Use a browser private mode or remove all the history and cache details from your  system .

    2) Conduct system reboot or you may reboot the VPN service  , go to console option 6 select option 2 and enter

    3) Check of the user have SSL VPN policy applied .

4)re-generate the certificate which the SSL VPN is using in the SSL VPN settings.

  • Hi Aditya,

thanks for your reply. I tried the following:

    1) Use a browser private mode or remove all the history and cache details from your  system.

    - I tried different Browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari) on several devices - I edit the settings, press Apply, press OK when ask If I'm sure and when I change to another site and go back to the VPN Settings, nothing has changed.

    2) Conduct system reboot or you may reboot the VPN service  , go to console option 6 select option 2 and enter

    - a reboot of the device didn't change the above problem

    3) Check of the user have SSL VPN policy applied .

    - SSL VPN policy is applied - the downloads are displayed in the user portal, but nothing happens when I try to download the file

4)re-generate the certificate which the SSL VPN is using in the SSL VPN settings.

    - I regenerated the certificate and additionally tried to use my startssl Certificate - didn't change anything

  • Problem is solved, after I started a new configuration from scratch up ... no Idea what went wrong on the first Trial.

    Thanks for your help!
