How can I drop broadcasts without log entry?

I have a windows server. How can I drop the broadcasts without LOG entry?

I have created a rule in which the target IP address 192.168.0.255 is dropped. This rule is never addressed.

  • Ulrich,

broadcast traffic never across 2 firewall interfaces so the rule is never hitted and so blocked.

Some other vendors allow you to disable broadcast traffic from logs. I am not sure if XG can disable brodcast logs from internal logging.

I think that broadcast logs should be disabled and enabled only for troubleshooting purposes.

    You had a nice question.

    Thanks
