Is there a way to reinstall XG from USB stick

Dear All,

If XG appliance's firmware was broken, is there a way to reinstall XG from USB stick?

What should I prepare on this USB stick? ISO? firmware format?

Shunze,

Of course is possible. It works at the same way like installing the sw version but you need to use the hw ISO.

And how does the ISO decide the appliance serial number?

Shunze,

HW has the serial information somewhere so the ISO will detect it and proceed with the installation. To make sure you are installing the correct ISO, download the ISO from your Sophos Account > Network devices.
