AD Synchronization time

When ever I change the group membership in AD of a user it does not implement the change. After how much time it synchronize with the AD

    Adding some details of the problem, actually I have 3 security groups with thousands in users in each group. These groups is to separate the users with social media and streaming access, the users with limited access. when ever i change the member ship of a uses from one group to other it will not applying the change. Is it of the synchronization problem or what?
