WLE900VX

Ch Ha

How can I enable a WLE900VX ac module in Sophos XG? It as an ath10k based module but does not get recognized by Sophos XG.

    CH,

    Sophos does not support any third-party Wireless cards. You have to use Sophos AP or buy Sophos HW appliance with Wireless built-in. Only those are full supported.

    Thx for your response but those are no real options for me right now.

    Current status: with UTM, the card is working via hostapd and can be fully used. Unfortunately, XG is using a different OS setup. Thus I only can get the card working on OS level manually so far (after rebooting the box, the setup is gone), but within XG the device is not getting listed. Any idea why this might be?

    PS: For the time being, it looks like I need to stay with UTM...

    I'm considering buying such card to be used with a box running UTM 9.

    Would you mind passing your impressions about its performance (e.g. Compatibility with UTM, speed, number of clients, dual band capabilities, etc)?
