421 server busy. Try again later - New error, no mail arrive on our mail server

Hi

This moring, without modifying any rule, we encounter a new problem :

"421 server busy. Try again later - New error, no mail arrive on our mail server"

 

If i go into SMTP rule and untick SMTP/SMTP(S) for scanning mails, all is OK

I've tested to stop and start the antispam functiun in webui. Not did anything

 

How can i resolve this issue ?

  • seems the used AV engine won't work correctly.

    try the following

    - switch SMTP to "single scan"

    if problems occur again: 

    - change the AV engine for single-scan

    (management / system settings / scan settings / single-scan-engine)

     

    also a reboot of FW would help.

    otherwise contact sophos support.
