Would Red15w will work with Sophos XG? 

All I need is to pass in the RED serial number and desired configuration in XG interface?

Will I receive unlock code via email after applying  these settings?

Yes it will work with SFOS.

With UTM9 you would, but i haven't actually tried it in SFOS. I guess you will since you have to keep the unlock code in a safe place. It's used if you want to (re)deploy the RED device later on.

Btw. you're in the wrong forum if you want to use it with SFOS.

This is from the UTM9 RED documentation in the Sophos KB

Important:  It is crucial that you keep the Unlock Code which is emailed instantly to the address provided on the Global Settings tab (during activation of RED) as soon as the RED appliance registers with the RPS. You need the unlock code when you want to use the RED appliance with another UTM. If you then do not have the unlock code ready, the only way to unlock the RED appliance is to contact the Sophos Support.

is for UTM, I have XG device. 

When I will send out the RED15 to remote site how will it get its configuration?

Red will be behind bridged router so my question is how will red get the PPPoE settings from router? 

Where to I specify the username/Password for PPPoE? 

I understand RED will get config from cloud but it needs connection to WAN first.

I can't find any relevant documentation on this matter.

Sachin, Ray should have started this thread in the XG forums.  I don't think my mod authority here is enough for me to move this thread there.  Can you do it?
