Looking for a web exception for Amazon Prime Video

Yes, everything works fine with https-scanning.

Youtube runs with the exception from above.

No, Amazon Prime Video does not start.

The Amazon web-frame is in the browser and there where the video shut play is only a running circle.

I would advise you to apply scanning at first and then put the URL logged under Log Viewer and allow in HTTPS Exceptions listing. Try to Run the Video and check which URL does it go..

There are a lot of URLs.  So for a Canadian user anyway, there's amazon.com, amazon.ca, primevideo.com, aiv-cdn.net, akamaihd.net.  After adding all those it finally worked.  But probably I just need the last 2. [EDIT]  Confirmed; I removed the others, just kept the last 2 and it worked.  If those 2 don't work then check the Log Viewer, Web Filter to see what CDN source URLs you might have to add to Web\Extensions.  Those sound like streaming content delivery networks only, so probably safe to exclude them.  I hope.

Configure a category and add the keywords like Amazon and primevideo. Define it inside the WebFilter and configure the action as allow.

I've already shown how I've gotten it to work.  It feels like your suggestion would open us up to huge possibility of bad sites.  For example, if someone registered a domain "amazonprimevideo.com" or "amazonmalware.com" that it would be allowed now.  Also, this would completely not work for streaming video because the CDN (content distribution network) URLs don't have amazon nor primevideo in their names.
