system log

Was testing an firewall ahead of the sophos xg85w to see what might get through. Noticed the system log was permanently empty from there on? Why might that be? thx

Logs go away when you reboot the appliance. This is a behavior that is going to change into next release.

Seemed like I waited a while and not even dhcp routine info would come up. I should of timed that.

Strange that after a reboot logs did not came out!

Maybe there is something wrong with your Reports DB. You can check logs inside /var/tslog using Advanced shell from CLI (option 5 > 3) and check there if logs are updated.
