No updates available message came while checking update

You can wait the automatic distribution or you can manually apply up2date:

I have downloaded the ISO but every time i upload it it appears to upload and then takes me back to the file selector window and hasn't uploaded the firmware!

Any ideas? i need to upgrade the FW but boot and maintain current config so the up2date thing wont work for me and i would prefer to do it through the GUI.

You have to downlod the gpg package and not ISO from:https://community.sophos.com/products/xg-firewall/b/xg-blog/posts/sfos-16-01-0-released-1523397409
