HA failed, unable to connect with peer device

Both of them have the same firmware.

The same subscription,

The same port number.

Neither AA nor AS succeeded...

I suspect it is because you do not have the passphrase saved on the aux device. 

Could you please go to the auxiliary device and prepare it for HA?

Go to HA in the auxiliary appliance and prepare it as shown in the below screen snap

Take SSH to XG and go to Advance shell. Execute,

cd /log

tail -f msync.log

tail -f applog.log | grep ha

Post the output. Do you see log lines confirming the Sanity check failed?

tail -f /log/applog.log | grep ha:
Nov 10 11:29:41 enableha: enableha called from GUI
Nov 10 11:29:43 enableha: peer sanity check failed

After contact our partner, they said,

"Although SG looks like XG, whether hardware or network number,  they are different models.
So they can't enable HA."

This is all a big mix-up!
And partner will borrow us another XG for HA.

Exactly what I wanted to point, if the Sanity check fails then one of the reason is that there is a mismatch in hardware revision/model or firmware.
