After upgrade to SFOS 16 issues with admin logon

Just fyi,

After the upgrade to SFOS 16 we were able to login only once with the user "admin" and after disconnecting from the GUI, we weren't able to login again (GUI, SSH, console).

We found that the issue was with spaces in our password.

After changing the admin password with no spaces in it, we were able to login.

    Hi Ivan,

    Did v15 support space in the password? I am not sure as I tested this scenario; keeping a space inside a password.

    I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what do you mean. 

    Let me explain again. After upgrading CR50iNG from SFOS 15.01.0 MR-3 to SFOS 16.01.1 

    As I mentioned we manage to login with the admin account only the first time. The password is known by 2 ITs, so its not wrong password, or changed. We were really confused on what is going on, we tried typing it, copy-pasting from our credential stores, non worked.

    Lucky for us we had an account with Profile - system admin, from which we were able to reset the admin password from Administration -> Device access , reset to default

    After that we set the password to the old one, lets say "1 2 3", password was accepted.  We tried to login with password "1 2 3" , didnt work.

    reset again to default - admin admin, login works.

    reset to 123 - login works.

    Thats the story.

    Wasn't sure to post it, but anyway, just sharing to know if anyone is having same issue or it is just us.

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting. 

    It is a known issue and the fix will be available in v16 MR-1 which is the next release. The JIRA associated with this issue is NC-13510.
