HTTPS hangs too much

John,

• what version of XG are you using?
• Did you import the HTTPS certificate inside your browser?
• What browser are you using?

I saw a customer having this issue because they upgraded from Cyberoam and the old Cyberoam certificate was still used. Re-generated the certificated and imported it again solved the issue.

Can you also share a tcpdump output for a HTTPS website you are surfing?

Google chrome  mostly. xg85 w with the latest firmware. Have not imported the certificate in a while. Will move on that.

Also please share a result by making a plain firewall rule for a particular host from LAN to WAN without any policies at all.

Their are a ton of certificates in my browser. Will take a bit to figure which one(s) to import.

Try and check web surfing through various web browsers, do you find the similar behavior with all of them?

Restart Web proxy, go to configure> system services> services>web proxy: restart.

Next check #4 in my troubleshooting here.

Any help with that?

Thanks for the recommendations. Will check out your steps. Some of the web pages would say are "sketchy" sponsored pages on yahoo. The box is doing what it should probably.
