Dear Sophos support Team Good day I need to open ticket to solve our problem : Now all user in connected with DC and disable windows firewall but sometimes (some user can't access internet automatically must be connected Via Captive Portal I need to solve and finish this problem ( we need to access automatically ) . I hope to understanding this problem and solve it.

Dear Sophos support Team Good day

I need to open ticket to solve our problem :

Now all user in connected with DC and disable windows firewall but sometimes (some user can't access internet automatically must be connected Via Captive Portal

I need to solve and finish this problem ( we need to access automatically ) .

I hope to understanding this problem and solve it.

Hi Khaled,

Which Sophos product are you is it Sophos XG or Sophos UTM? As the captive portal feature is supported on Sophos XG.

I'm sorry, Khaled, but I don't understand what you're using - model and Version - UTM 9.407? I also can't "see" what the problem looks like.

I would explain to you my problem sometimes some Users are not allowing Browse the Internet only through the captive Portal (must be login username and password every time when turn on the computer)

I want access to the Internet Automatically.

I hope that you understand my problem and please give me solution to solve this Problem.

Hi Khaled,

I understand your query and it is the wrong group to post it. i will move the post into the XG forum.

To your question, create a Clientless user for the systems that needs no authentication to explore the internet. Go to, setting> administration> clientless users. Refer the document here for more information.

Khaled,

the first thing you can do is to upgrade to latest version v16.0.1.

Did you configure STAS or are you using RADIUS as authentication method?
