Authentication for mobile devices and network printers?

clientless users is the solution for you. Anyway mobile users can authenticate using the Network Agent (for iPhone, Android) while for printers or other devices where an agent cannot be installed, use clientless users. You can create them under Authentication > Clientless users.

Once you have created the clientless user, you can use them as "users" and apply all the policy rules you want.

I have set this up for some devices, but the XG doesn't link all traffic to the newly created clientless users. I still see additional traffic for the same IP showing up under IP traffic. Why doesn't it collect everything?

The issues I initially observed has disappeared. I am guessing that it takes some time to flush out old content.
