Securing syslog data

Question

I'm curious how you all are securing the syslog data for client firewalls communicating back to a central iview? 
 Are you doing this with VPN tunnels? Different port numbers? 
 Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

XG uses UDP port 514 (by default) and this traffic is not encrypted.

 As I know iView does not support TLS encryption.
