NTLM Authentication Problems

I have a Sophos XG450 (SFOS 15.01.0 MR-3), I implemented NTLM authentication, I set Internet Explorer "Automatic logon with User name and password" and configured in Sophos-> NTLM Settings-> Inactivty Time: 1440 minutes.
The user to access your PC and open Internet Explorer has navigation to internet, then at any time lose internet connection. Internet Explorer / Chrome not forward again through NTLM credentials and captive portal does not open automatically.

Users use a wired network, are mobile users with laptops, sometimes disconnect the cable and use WiFi (another network segment) and the same problem occurs.


Please I hope you can help me to give a transparent solution (NTLM) or the captive portal can automatically open when the NTLM does not work.

    Hi,

    Please share the configuration screenshot. Take SSH to XG and go to option 5.>3. Advance Shell. Execute,

    cd /log

    tail -f nasm.log 

    Make sure NTLM is enabled for required zone in system> administration> device access> authentication services.
