Dear Nirmal,

Just connect the console cable and when you prompted for password, just type "RESET". 

This will give you menu with 3 options for resetting the device, chose the one which best suits your needs.

i have one Port in the XG - com; i have connected the com port & other end I have connoted to system com port & then I opened the putty

In putty which connection type I have to choose?

I hope I have choose Serial.

Yes, point to serial connection make sure you selected right port - e.g. COM0. If i'm not mistaken the baud rate should be 38400.
