Filter by operating system

Question

Hello. 
 In our company we have created a wireless network to connect mobile equipments based in android and Mac operating system (essentially smartphones and tablets). We have configured a dedicated interface in our sophos xg that handle this network. 
 My question: It&acute;s possible to filter clients based in operanting system to filter and only allow android or Mac clients? ( with sophos UTM9 its possible ).

Hi Jose, 
 I'm aware in the UTM you can apply web filtering authentication to different device types but I am unaware you could do different filtering rules based on what device is connecting through the device. Do you have a screenshot of this? 
 On the XG I am unaware at this time that there is any capability to specify which Operating Systems are allowed through it. The Cyberoam Appliance does not have this and none of the configuration systems I have seen so far allow you to specify this so at the moment it is a no, however you can request this as a feature here: http://ideas.sophos.com/forums/330219-sophos-xg-firewall 
 Sorry, but it would be a cool thing to do!

 is to the point. It was not possible in Cyberoam appliances; same in XG.
