Testing XG

Question

Hi, 
 
 I&acute;m a SG 125 user with 2 red devices and 3 APs. 
 I`ve downloaded XG software and installed into Vmware enviroment in order to test. 
 
 How can I import an UTM backup to XG? 
 When Could we update from SG to XG directly? Maybe this year?

Edgar, 
 there is no way to import the UTM backup inside XG at the moment. This feature will be available from next year, so we have to wait. 
 You can build a new configuration on XG if you do not have a lot of settings. 
 Test XG before you decide to move to it. There are some changes inside the XG and also logging is still confusing and not complete in this version. 
 Of course it depends on what you requirements are!

 Luk is correct, both our product has a different experience altogether. Test Sophos XG firewall home version before shifting to the new OS. 
 It seems that the XG is yet to hit the AWS marketplace. In case, you are trying to get a new appliance then please can contact sale@sophos.com or the local partners. They can also help you with POC on the product.
