BGP Capabilities of XG

We are looking at a new datacentre facility that requires BGP to connect to the upstream providers.

We are trying to select the correct hardware to use in this facility and would like it if we could use a XG firewall, rather than a high end router and a XG firewall placed behind it for our security requirements.

Our problem is, the XG documentation pretty much outlines what BGP stands for and the blatantly obvious about the available settings on the BGP routing configuration page and that's about it.

We need some more information regarding the capabilities and performance of BGP in the XG series firewalls. We will need to be able to service up to approx 400-500Mbps via BGP on 4 - 6 multi-homed carriers. We have no need for full routing tables, but from the settings outlined in the XG documentation, there is no way to filter the routes to reduce the size of the routing table.

Does this mean that the XG is capable of managing full routes?

Any feedback regarding the XG's BGP capabilities and recommendations regarding performance would be great.

Thanks in advance.
