Wireless protection hotspots password of the day sent to email doesn't work daily

Question

i set up a hotspot and chose the password of the day . how can i make Sophos XG send that password to my email daily .. i already configured every thing and password only sent one time . and i have to go manually to the user portal and press send to email . is there is any way to automate this ?

My problem regarding the mails that should be automatically send every day containing Password of the Day -> solved! :-)

Hi, 
 I tested the setup and the mail is automatically sent in my case. What do you see in the logs? Go to, system > 
 Go to, System > Diagnostic > Log viewer > System > Device and verify if the device shoots out a mail at renewal time of the password, set in the hotspot settings.

Hi, 
 In this case it seems to be a problem between the email server and the XG device. The XG device is working normally as it is expecting the server to send a SMTP 354 but instead the server is sending a 421 (temporary system problem). 
 One of the reason for this to happen is timezone. Could you please check the device timezone and server timezone. The server sends a 421 when date mismatch. I am guessing this is an issue because the server is still on the old date and device is one day ahead. 
 Alternatively, please test by selecting 01:00 or 23:00 and share your results.

 The issue is rectified and reported as bug in JIRA NC-13531. 
 The fix to this will be available in the next release.
