Mapping a port doesn't seem to work. See the pictures for details.

  • Thomas,

So your Router has 2 NIC, WAN where there is the public IP and Lan with 10.1.10.1, correct? What are the IP configured on XG? I mean WAN and LAN.

    Thanks

  • The router is a Netgear Modem/Router. It has 4 ports, only one is being used. The XG85 is plugged into it. Only 2 ports on the XG85 are used, one used to connect to the Modem/Router, one to the LAN.

Here is a screenshot of the default policy

I see nothing in the log indication an attemp is being made to connect. I neglected to mention earlier that this worked with the Untangle box that was previously in place.

  • Thomas,

remove the XG WAN ip address inside the DMZ area inside the router and create a Port Forwarding rule that forwards all the ports to XG WAN ip address. Use a static ip address on WAN side of XG.

    It will work!
