RED Site to Site between XG and UTM?

I tested red configuration between Utm and XG and it did not work. You should find another thread. The answer was that Utm to XG does not work while vice versa it does. So XG cannot be the client. They will remove this limit soon.

I installed XG as virtual machine to take a look, but I couldn't even find the settings for RED Site to Site.  I only see settings for RED appliances to connect.  Where did you find the settings for RED Site to Site?

I also searched for other threads on the same topic, but couldn't find anything on RED Site to Site.  Could you please point me to the other thread you mentioned?

Hopefully, they can fix this soon.  My company owns a UTM appliance, but there is no way we will upgrade without RED Site to Site.

Jens,

once you have enabled RED under System Services, you can add RED connection under Network > Interfaces > Add RED. Here you can choose Firewall Red Server or Client and proceed with the same configuration like UTM.

I must be on a different version (SFOS 15.01.0 MR-3) because I only client under Network -> Interfaces -> Add RED.

Which version are you using and how did you upgrade to it?

I am using v16 (beta). Have a look at this links:

You can upgrade from v15 to v16. UI is different (better) and if logging has been improved (not a lot yet but a step forward).

Remember, it is a beta!

Yes, the interface for v16 looks much better. Well, I tried to setup a RED Site to Site, but XG doesn't even accept the provisioning file from the UTM.  So, that's quite disappointing.

What is the schedule for new beta versions?  Monthly?  I think I will stop testing until this is fixed.
