I am sure this is a pretty simple setup error on my side but I have messed with this for a couple of days and am getting nowhere. I installed an XG115 at my home office and for the most part it has gone well with the exception of accessing my mail server from within the home office network.
I am running a synology mail server on my local network (192.168.x.xxx) that I am unable to reach from mail clients on the same network. I can access the web based client from synology (both intranet and internet) to send and receive mail no problems and mail clients like iOS and OSX work fine as long as they are not on the local lan. However when I am working from my home office on the 192 network the mail clients fail to access my mail server.
Aside from that everything else seems to work fine. I am not sure if this is an issue with Firewall policies or mail setup but since this was working fine with a linksys router I am assuming I have set something up incorrect on the XG.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
