XG Memory utilization

Question

I have recently upgraded my SG115 to XG. The memory in it would always run about 30% with SG but now with XG it is running consistantly around 80%. Is there a way to determine what is using the memory?

Hi Marcus, 
 Go to System> Diagonostics> System graph and check what does the graph represent here. Please post a screenshot of the same. 
 Next, take SSH to XG and go to option 5. > 3. Advance shell and run "top" command. Monitor which process is utilizing high memory.

 Everything in the graphs is normal. CPU is normal & the Memory usage is a bit high. Check the following: 
 What is the number of concurrent connections on XG? 
 Go to option 4. Device console in SSH. Run, "show ips-settings". Check if the lowmem option is tunred OFF. Enable it by executing, set ips lowmem-settings on

HI Emanuele, 
 It is normal , The part of XG would first allocate the Ram to each of its services. This does not mean the memory is low or insufficient. Our firmware are launched as per the hardware specs and will show utilized memory as per their allocation . 
 You may run the command console >system diagnostics show memory 
 Here is an example of the VM running XG with no system in the LAN and only connected to WAN .
