DHCP option 61?

Is it possible to set option 61 (Client-ID) in the dhcp client

it's required to send a hex string in option 61 to authenticate on a Sky fttc connection

  • Hi - I'm looking for an answer to this as well, for the same reason: Sky FTTC don't use PPPoE for authenticating devices, instead they expect a certain string to be sent as DHCP option 61 in the DHCP request from the router to the Sky network.

Is this something that can be configured in XG, or UTM? I cannot see where I might do this.
