Stuck in the Register Device and Synchronize License Loop

Question

Hello Guys, 
 I was able to put the Sophos XG ISO onto one of my built PCs. 
 I've configured it and am now trying to gain web access to it. 
 The firewall is pingable. 
 The page I see is, 
 
 Serial Number 
 
 Basic Setup 
 Register Device 
 Synchronize License 
 My Device is already registered and I can also see it in "MySophos" 
 I try the basic setup and configure it, but once I save changes it just goes back to the page shown above. I do not know what else to do, any thoughts?

Hi Jeremy 
 I stuck at the same point as you (and dozens of others - in a different post on this side) 
 Here is how I finally managed to solve this. 
 It's not THE solution I'd say, but it's how I finally managed to overcome this endless loop where I was always sent back to the registration page. Annoying really. And I still think there's a bug... 
 In the end i was so p*** that I did the following: 
 1. verified that my device was shown and registered in my Sophos account 
 (of course it was, because the error I always received was: "device already registered". But when hitting "Click here to start configuring your device" I was sent back to the registration page.) 
 2. I reset-ted the Box and did a clean install from the iso file. 
 --> Then... surprise surprise: this time I was able to hit the "Click here to start configuring your device" link and the setup wizard started just fine as it should have been doing from the beginning :) 
 As said: this is not a solution but hey: My Sophos XG is up and runnig since then and I'm pretty happy! 
 And yes, it's cool to got this thing managed :)

Hi Jeremy, 
 This is because the device is not synchronizing. Make sure you have the WAN configurations in place before trying to synchronize the device.

Hi, 
 No before synchronizing the license, it is mandatory to register the appliance. If you are still facing an issue. I request you to contact customercare@sophos.com.
